Orange is a fruit that defines several of its species and varieties. It consists of 80% water - so it is worth eating it, especially on hot days, when our body especially needs good hydration. This fruit also has carbohydrates, vitamins A, C, and P, beta-carotene, and B vitamins. The latter is particularly important for the proper functioning of the nervous system. In addition, we can find calcium, magnesium, copper, selenium, phosphorus, iron, and zinc in it.

The high content of vitamin C makes oranges a great antioxidant that prevents antioxidant stress and slows down the aging process of the body. Oranges also contain a large amount of folic acid, the content of which in the diet should be specially taken care of by pregnant women. In addition, folic acid is the only ingredient that prevents the development of neural tube defects in the fetus.
